The Westheimer Street Festival

There have been grass roots efforts driven by your faithful editor and others to compel the powers that be that we MUST have our street festival back. The logic used to destroy it - drunkeness, trash, defecation in yards etc - is non sense. There is no more of this with the fest than there is with our beloved Pride Parade. Keep your eyes open and ears peeled - we may just do something about this after all.

Online City Guides

My oh my there has been a sudden growth in sites offering to control the online Houston city guide / advertising space. Divas, Pop Culture Clubs and even major local paper rags - we've seen them come and go over the years. What most don't understand is that the only way this gig works is with REAL traffic, REAL content and a loyal readership which takes years to develop.  Not drummed up self proclamations. One thing is for sure - westheimer.com will still be here after they're gone keeping it real with fresh no nonsense reporting. LOL.
